
Ulster boxing titles were won on Friday night in Belfast by two Donegal fighters, Denis O’Donnell and Oran Shields.
Dungloe man O’Donnell beat Michael McConigley of Illies Golden Gloves, on a split 3-1 decision, in an all Donegal clash for the Senior Heavyweight crown.
Illies Oran Shields won the Light Heavyweight title with 3-2 decision over Derry man Jack Doherty.
Lifford’s Barry McGinty lost his final to Craig Boucher while a third title came back to the county as Caroline Gallagher was given a walk over.
