Update: Homes flooded & roads blocked in Donegal Town

 

A number of homes have been flooded in Donegal Town with the fire service on the scene.
There are concerns of further flooding in the New Row area of the Donegal Town with the river Eske already high and the tide rising.
There is also flooding on the approach road from Laghey to Donegal Town near the craft village which is blocked.
Routes between the Abbey Vocational school and Abbott’s pharmaceutical and the old Laghey road are also said to be severely impacted.
