Overnight flooding affecting some routes around Donegal

 

Overnight flooding is affecting some routes around Donegal this morning.
Gardai are advising that there may be surface water at various locations across the county.
The Gaoth Dobhair road in Dungloe is reportedly flooded.
The road, adjacent to the local fire station, is said to be passable with care.
Meanwhile flooding has also been reported in and around Donegal Town with routes between the Abbey Vocational school and Abbott’s pharmaceutical and the old Laghey road said to be severely impacted.
Motorists are being advised to seek alternative routes.
The Frosses road outside Glenties is also badly flooded with Gardai there also warning to approach the area with caution.
