Almost 40 people awaiting in-patient beds at LUH

 

Letterkenny University Hospital is once again one of the most overcrowded hospitals in the country today with 39 people awaiting in-patient beds there this morning – 14 on trolleys in its Emergency Department.
The number waiting is down just one on yesterdays figure of 40.
University Hospital Limerick was again the most overcrowded with 66 people waiting there.
Nationally, there were 552 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
