There are further claims that Irish Water is not engaging with Donegal County Councillors on a range of problems across Donegal.
The issue was raised at the latest sitting of the Donegal Municipal District, with concern that despite Councillors highlighting a number of what they deem to be valid cases, there’s said to be unwillingness from Irish Water to take those concerns on board.
Cllr Michael McMahon believes this is very much a countywide issue, stating there’s a major disconnect between local representatives and the utility that must be addressed as a matter of urgency:
