There were 13 people awaiting in-patient beds at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning according to the INMO with four on trolleys in its Emergency Department.
University Hospital Limerick was the most overcrowded with a record 81 people waiting for a bed there.
Nationally, there were 534 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
