Letterkenny Rovers secure top spot in Group A

Letterkenny Rovers have secured top spot in Group A of the Ulster Senior League Cup after they defeated Finn Harps Reserves 3-2.
BJ Banda opened the scoring for Rovers but they were pegged after 52 minutes when Ronan Gallagher calmly slotted a Kieran Farren cross into the Rovers net.
It took all of 90 seconds for Rovers to go ahead for the second time in the match, Emmett Friars powered home a bullet header from Johnny Bonner corner. Matty Harkin then netted Letterkenny’s third with what was his first touch after coming on.
Joel Bradley-Walsh got one back for Harps in the 84th minute but it wasn’t enough for Finn Harps Reserves.
