Calls for special fund to deal with ‘Brexit shock’


There’s a call for the Government to set up a one billion euro Brexit fund to help businesses withstand a ‘Brexit shock.’
The British Irish Chamber of Commerce believes larger than expected corporate tax revenue, should be allocated to a Brexit Response Fund to support industries most impacted by a ‘no-deal’ scenario.
It’s pre-budget submission also suggests greater investment in higher education and research links between the UK and Ireland.
