There are calls for patients who miss an appointment at Letterkenny University Hospital to be fined.
It follows concern raised over a high level of people missing outpatient appointments with claims that it’s adding further to the current backlog.
Cllr Michael McClafferty says those who don’t present a valid excuse for missing the appointment should be made pay a fine.
