Ciaran McGonagle and Maria McCambridge take victory in Donegal Half Marathon – Reaction

Nearly 500 people turned out to compete in the 2019 Donegal Half Marathon this morning.
It was a familiar face who won the overall event with Ciaran McGonagle of Letterkenny AC winning the event for the third year in a row in a Personal Best time of 1.13.13.
Second place was John McElhill of Finn Valley AC while another Finn Valley man was third – that was Mark McPaul.
In the Female category, Maria McCambridge of DSD AC took victory ahead of Helen McCready of the Rosses Athletic Club and Letterkenny AC’s Monica McGranaghan.
The Wheelchair category was won by Karol Doherty while the Team Event was won by ‘Smells Like Team Spirit’.
