GAA Programme: Eamonn O’Boyle, Martin Regan and Adrian Sweeney ahead of Donegal v Mayo


The GAA Programme in association with Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure, is broadcast every Wednesday from 8.30pm – 9pm.

On this week’s programme ahead of Saturday’s crunch All-Ireland quarter final meeting of Donegal and Mayo, Tom Comack was joined by two Mayo exiles firmly rooted in Donegal football.

St Eunan’s clubman Eamon O’Boyle, a native of Ballina, and Naomh Conaill stalwart Martin Regan, who hails from Charlestown, are the men in question.

Tom is also joined by former Donegal All-Star footballer Adrian Sweeney. Adrian was a member of the last and only Donegal team to play a championship match in Castlebar.

That was the 2003 All-Ireland quarter final replay against Galway. Donegal won that game 0-14 to 0-11 after drawing 0-14 to 1-11, seven days earlier in Croke Park…
