Dail calls on government to reject Mercosur deal

The Dáil has passed a motion calling on the government to reject the Mercosur trade deal.
The Sinn Féin motion passed 84 votes to 46 after Fianna Fáil supported it.
The Mercosur deal would allow more access to the EU market for South American farmers.
Despite the motion passing, the government can choose to ignore it.
