Lifeline Inishowen travel to Dail in battle for survival

 

A cross-party delegation will be receiving a petition from Lifeline Inishowen in the Dail later today.
Representatives of the domestic violence service are travelling to Dublin and were hoping to meet with Children’s Minister Katherine Zappone to discuss the urgent need for funding to be reinstated.
The service has been under severe threat of closure for a number of years after funding was withdrawn in 2010.
Donegal Senator Padraig MacLochlainn hopes the petition with over 1000 signatures can make a difference in the Government’s outlook:
