Greencastle miss out on perfect 16 in final league game

Champions Greencastle and runners up Glengad United finished out the Premier Division season with a 3-3 draw at The Crua on Tuesday evening.
A double from Gerard McLaughlin had Glengad 2-0 in front before goals from Michael Barr and James Henry tied up the game.
James McKinney converted a penalty to put the home side ahead with ten minutes to go but another penalty in stoppage time by Michael Barr earned Greencastle a point.
The result means they finish the league undefeated but missed out on winning all their games for the perfect 16.
A Greencastle win this weekend over Cockhill Youths in the Buncrana Cup final would wrap up an historic quadruple for the club.
