The Tyrone Minors will now face a battle with Down in the 3rd round of Qualifiers in the Ulster MFC following their 3-08 v 0-13 loss to Monaghan on Saturday evening.
Monaghan led by 3 points at half-time and two second half goals made sure that the reigning Ulster champions move on to the semi-finals.
