Tyrone survived a second half scare to defeat Derry by 1-19 v 1-13 at Healy Park in Omagh today in the Ulster Senior Football Championship Preliminary Round.
Derry led with just 8 minutes left to play but a Tyrone goal from Darren McCurry turned things around for the Red Hands as they went on to outscore by 1-05 v 0-01 in those last eight minutes.
