Donegal had to dig deep for the win – Donegal Minor manager Gary Duffy

The Donegal Minors march on in the Ulster Minor Football Championship following a 2-18 v 2-12 win over Armagh at MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey this evening.
Shane Monaghan came on as a second half substitute and scored both goals for Donegal and they ended up making the difference in the end as some of the Armagh players got sent off. Jonny McGroddy scored 9 of Donegal’s 18 points.
Next up for Donegal is a clash with Cavan in the 3rd round of qualifiers, with the winners moving on to the Ulster Minor Football Championship Semi-Finals.
