Gardaí have confirmed that officers in Milford are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in Milford this morning.
The discovery of the the body of a women in her 40s is understood to have been made at her home in the town at around 7am.
There are reports of intensive garda activity at the scene, with officers having sealed off an area in the town center at the Lough Road.
