The 2019 WAAR (Wild Atlantic Adventure Race) was won by Shaun Stewart with Siobhan Gallagher being the first female across the finish line.
The event started early this morning with four different categories in which competitors could compete;
Individuals – 10K Run, 42.5K Cycle, 2k Hike & 1K Kayak
Teams – 10K Run, 42.5K Cycle, 2k Hike & 2K Kayak
Duathlon – 10k Run & 42.5k Cycle
Sprint – 5K Run, 33K Cycle, & 1K Kayak
