Several arrests made by roads Gardaí during Bank Holiday

Donegal Gardaí have spoken of their disappointment following a number of arrests over the bank holiday weekend relating to drink and drug driving.
The force have said some arrests were made at checkpoints when drivers failed roadside breath tests.
Other arrests came after Gardaí observed motorists driving under the while on patrol.
With roads getting busier as people head home after the long weekend this evening, they’ve urged everyone using them to drive carefully and not to make any poor decisions when it comes to road safety
