Irish Water has agreed in principle to address major water issues in Ballindrait.
It follows six bursts to the supply there in the space of a fortnight.
It’s understood that the utility is meeting in the coming days to tease the project out further.
Local Cllr Gary Doherty says its imperative that the proposed works get underway as soon as possible:
