Breaking: Gardai investigating overnight incident in Letterkenny

 

An investigation has been launched into an incident in Letterkenny.
The incident occurred overnight outside a nightclub on the Lower Main Street area of the town.
Gardai were first alerted to two men unconscious outside the night club and arrived at the scene at approximately 3am.
Both men were transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment.
Gardai have confirmed that it appears an assault occurred.
The area has been sealed off and it’s expected that a forensic examination will take place this morning.
Gardai also remain at the scene.
