Letterkenny Rovers have ended Cockhill Celtic’s dominance in the Ulster Senior League League Cup by beating the Inishowen side in the final at Finn Park in Ballybofey.
3-1 is how it finished and it was Lee Toland who opened the scoring from the penalty spot to put Letterkenny 1-0 up. Cockhill then missed a penalty before half-time but they brought it level through Jimmy Bradley on 76 minutes.
BJ Banda was the hero then for Letterkenny as he scored on 82 minutes to put Eamon McConigley’s side 1 up before scoring again in injury time to leave the final score 3-1.
