Carndonagh Mountain Road closed for works from Monday

Motorists are being reminded that a road closure gets underway tomorrow morning on the R244 Carndonagh Mountain road to accommodate bridge replacement works.
From 8am tomorrow, Monday 29th April, until 8am on Monday the 13th of May there will be no vehicular access to the road.
Diversions will be in place, working both ways on the R238 regional road through Buncrana, Drumfries, Clonmany, Ballyliffin and Carndonagh.
A small pedestrian access path will also be in place to accommodate access to Scoil Naomh Padraig in Drumfries and other local businesses.
