Boyle hoping to build on Bohs win

The Finn Harps U19s will be aiming to build on their excellent away win over Bohemians when Joe Boyle’s side takes on Cavan-Monaghan FP in Ballybofey this afternoon (kick-off 2.00pm). Central defender Keenan Diver got the goal in the Bohs game but Boyle says Cavan-Monaghan will provide formidable opposition for his boys at Finn Park.
“Cavan Monaghan have started the league with two draws against Dundalk and St Pats. They beat Longford and had defeats to Sligo and Athlone. They are a difficult side to play against and are well coached. They have dangerous players in Seosamh Sheerin and Hayden Fitzpatrick” Boyle said.
In team news Darragh Ellison, Lee McLaughlin, Jack Doherty and Corey McBride are all available after playing in the Centenary International Tournament for the Republic of Ireland Schoolboys team against Wales on Thursday night at the Home Farm Complex in Dublin. Boyle has congratulated the four Harps U19s on winning the game 5-3 and the added bonus of seeing two of his players Ellison and and McBride both scoring against the Welsh. “Michael Gallagher and Stephen Doherty were with the first team last night in Sligo. We have no injuries going into the game” Boyle concluded.
