Government officials concerned at the extent of “re-profiling”

It’s emerged senior government officials raised serious concerns about tens of millions of euro in cuts to make up for cost over-runs at the National Children’s Hospital.
The Irish Times reports that rural funds, flood risk management, roads and higher education projects were among the areas that lost out on funding.
It was because of “re-profiling” of many projects due to the cost of the project, which now stands at over 1.4 billion euro.
