House prices continue to rise in Donegal


The cost of house prices both in Donegal and across the country are continuing to rise.
Latest figures from Daft.ie’s Q1 House Price Report show the cost of a house in Donegal was 5% higher in the first three months of 2019 than the same time last year.
Latest figures from Daft.ie’s quarterly house price report show the average price of a house nationally is now €261,000, that’s €15,000 higher than this time last year.
In Donegal, prices for the first three months of 2019 were 5% higher than a year previously, compared to a fall of 2% seen a year ago. The average house price here is now 28% above its lowest point, at €146,000 euro.
In Dublin, prices are continuing the upward trend, with average prices rising by an average of 74% since their lowest point in mid 2012. Average house prices there stand at €383,000
