Aurora Borealis may be visible over Northern coasts tonight

People in Ireland may get a chance to see the Northern Lights this weekend.

Known as the aurora borealis, the phenomenon is usually best viewed in the north of Norway.

It's expected that the display will be visible from at least Ireland's Northern coasts, if not the whole country.
