Finn Harps and Derry City return to action this evening

The S-S-E Airticity League Premier and First Divisions return from their summer break this evening.

Finn Harps will look to remain on track for promotion contention as they travel to Cabinteely tonight.

Manager Ollie Horgan will have to plan without the suspended Michael O'Connor, Ciaran O'Connor and Tommy McBride while Adam Duffy is a doubt for the clash at Stradbrook.

Harps are fifth in the table with 28 points, ten behind leaders UCD and among a group of four teams including Drogheda Utd, Shelbourne and Longford who are separated by just three points.

Kick off is 7.45pm and there'll be live updates on Highland from the Harps Cabinteely clash with Coilin Duffy this evening.

In the other games, UCD take on Longford Town, Galway United Play Shelbourne, Drogheda United meet Cobh Ramblers and Athlone Town host Wexford.

In the Premier Division, Derry City are making the trip to Dublin to play Shamrock Rovers.

Derry go to the Tallaght Stadium without the suspended Aaron McEneff and the injured Nicky Low.

New signings Dean Shiel's, son of Manager Kenny, and Ben Fisk are not available.

Elsewhere, just a point separates leaders Cork City and Dundalk ahead of their meeting at Oriel Park.

There is also a Dublin derby at Dalymount Park, with St Patrick's Athletic the visitors to Bohemians and Limerick entertain Bray Wanderers.
