Over four thousand Donegal students begin state exams today


Over four thousand students in Donegal are set to begin their State exams today.
A total of 2,043 are sitting the Leaving Cert in Donegal, almost exactly a 50/50 split between girls and boys. 106 students in the county are sitting the Leaving Cert Applied.
English is the first paper for everyone – those sitting the Applied Leaving have it combined with communications.
It’s also the first time that a new course in Politics and Society will be tested in 41 pilot centres.
