Downings claimed the Junior Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta crown on Monday with a 1-12 v 1-10 win over Fanad Gaels in Downings.
Downings led by a single point at half-time, 0-5 v 0-4. Downings were able to keep control for most of the game, but Fanad went ahead with 5 minutes left to play. Downings fired back with a goal to make sure of the win.
