Concern as PSNI drop plans to sell two former stations in Tyrone


Concerns for the shape of a post-brexit border arrangement have once again been raised following confirmation from the PSNI that the selling of a number of PSNI stations along the border has been halted.
The decision to pause the disposal of three stations at Warrenpoint, Aughnacloy and Castlederg has caused speculation that, as part of a Brexit border security plan, they could be recomissioned.
It has been suggested the postponement of the selling of the stations could point to the concept of an open border becoming increasingly unlikely.
