Irish Water repairs burst water main on Gola Island

A burst water main on Gola Island has been repaired today, it’s after concerns were raised earlier this year when the main water line servicing the island from the mainland rose to the surface.
Irish Water have confirmed that repairs have taken place with water currently being restored to the island.
An alternative water supply was transported to the island to ensure a supply for residents and visitors to the island while the repairs were underway.
