There’s further speculation that the post office in Bunbeg could close within a matter of months.
It’s after reports that redundancies have been accepted at the post office, with the service expected to close in October.
Local Cllr Michael Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig says there’s a will within the community to retain what is a vital facility and says every effort must be made to prevent closure:
