Derry City recruit Jamie McDonagh

Derry City have signed Northern Ireland Under-21 striker Jamie McDonagh.

He arrives at the Brandywell having impressed during a spell at Sligo Rovers towards the end of last season helping Rovers avoid relegation.

The Lisburn man also played in the Scottish Championship with Greenock Morton.

Derry City manager Kenny Shiels told the club website, “Jamie is the type of player which fits ideally into the club’s style of play and has high hopes for his future”.
