Donegal crash survivor honoured by the RSA

A Donegal Road Crash Survivor has been honoured by the RSA for his work on Road Safety Workshops in the county and beyond.

In 2006, Richard Alcorn's life was changed at the age of 19 when he was seriously injured in a crash.

Two of his cousins were killed in a separate incident in 2005.

Speaking in Dublin at last night's presentation, Richard Alcorn said he wants drivers to be more conscious of the decisions they make on the roads.

He says it's worth the effort of raising awareness even if it only saves one life.............
