Katie Hopkins’ Mail Online column is scrapped

It seems Katie Hopkins has finally gone too far in her Mail Online articles as the publisher has ditched her weekly column.
It comes following her controversial comments on terror attacks and well, an endless amount of other topics she has shared her usually extremely-offensive/often-racist views on.
A spokesperson for the website said her contract “was not renewed by mutual consent” and gave no further detail.
Hopkins also appears to have deleted a load of tweets on her official account, leaving just some retweets, although she did tweet a link earlier today to a recent talk she did in Florida.
Hopkins has written for the Mail Online since May 2015, having previously written for The Sun in what the newspaper hailed as “Britain’s most controversial columnist”.
While writing for the Mail Online she cost the publisher £150,000 when she wrongly suggested two brothers were extremists with links to al-Qaeda. Other controversies include telling Ed Miliband to “gas” his wife and suggesting dementia suffers be denied NHS care.
She is currently on the promotional trail for her latest book, which is said to be “part memoir, part handbook for the modern woman”.
We’ll pass thanks.
