Over €128,000 announced for sporting projects in Donegal

 

Over €128,000 of funding has been announced for sporting projects in Donegal.
The Minister of State for Tourism and Sport has announced €2.9 million worth of funding for sport and physical activity projects across the country.
The funding will be administered by Sport Ireland under the National Activity Plan for disadvantaged communities.
Minister Brendan Griffin has announced that €70,333 will be allocated to develop a new Community Sport and Physical Activity Hub in Bluestack.
An additional €35,000 is being made available to develop an existing Community Sport and Physical Activity Hub in Maghery.
While the Donegal Local Sports Partnership is to receive €13,333 in funding for a community coaching programme with €10,000 also being set aside for a youth leadership programme.
