23 patients awaiting admission at LUH

The number of patients awaiting in-patient beds at Letterkenny University Hospital fell this morning to 23, with 10 of them on Emergency Department trolleys.
Yesterday, there were 37 patients awaiting admission, the second highest figure in the country.
Nationally today, the INMO says there were 342 patients without in-patient beds, 37 of them, the highest number, at University Hospital Waterford.
In total this week alone, there have been 159 people awaiting admission at the hospital in Letterkenny.
