There are calls for more investment in Donegal’s islands.
Works have begun this week to connect East and West town on Tory Island as part of a €250,000 project.
However, Cathaoirleach of the Glenties Municipal District, Councillor Micheal Cholm MacGiolla Easbuig says while he has welcomed the commencement of these works, more investment is needed.
He says work needs to be carried to make the islands more accessible to tourists:
