Text reminder for outpatient appointments being considered for LUH

 

The General Manager of Letterkenny University Hospital says he’s open to the suggestion of employing a text reminder service for outpatient appointments.
It follows concern raised earlier this week on Highland Radio that over 100 people failed to turn up to their outpatient appointment last week alone.
Figures from the DNA revealed that the number of non attendances can range from 79 to 179 week to week.
