Sligo Rovers sealed Finn Harps fate last night with a 3-0 win over Derry City at the Showgrounds.
The Ballybofey side needed a Derry win to keep their chances of survival alive, but Sligo were too strong for the Candystripes.
3 clubs are being relegated this season to set up the new format with 10 teams in both the Premier Division and the First Division.
Finn Harps have played in the Premier Division for 2 years, and will now play their last 2 games in the division, for at least one season, against Drogheda on Monday night, and against Bohemians at Dalymount Park.
