Michael Murphy's LYIT men's gaelic football side lost 0-19 to 2-11 on Wednesday evening in the Higher Education Senior League to DKIT in Dundalk.

The Letterkenny college lead 2-6 to 0-10 at half time with the goals coming from Buncrana's Darach O'Connor and Termon's Enda McCormick.

Murphy lost O'Connor and McCormick at the break to injury.

DKIT, who will play Sigerson this season  proved to be stiffer opposition than in Letterkenny's win over University Ulster Coleraine last week.

LYIT'S third game is against Cavan Institute next Tuesday 24th October.
