Letterkenny University Hospital is the most overcrowded in Ireland today with 38 people waiting for a bed.
According to the latest trolley watch report, 25 people were on trolleys in its Emergency Department while a further 13 were waiting on wards.
Nationally there were 377 people waiting at hospitals across the country.
Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council Cllr. Gerry McMonagle says unless investment is injected into the Donegal health service this will continue:
