Gardai investigating the vicious assault of a young woman in Letterkenny at the weekend have released the description of a man suspected of the crime.
18 year old Shanan Reid McDaid was walking up by the Market Square area at around 3am on Sunday morning when a man approached her and proceeded to punch her repeatedly in the face causing her extensive injuries.
Gardai say the suspect is described as, male, mid thirties, clean shaven, 5’9”, average build, dirty blonde hair gelled back with dark bottoms, shirt buttoned to top and navy blazer.
Gardai request that any witnesses to this alleged assault contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 9167100.
