Joe Dunleavy to make competitive pro rugby debut against Scarlets


Joe Dunleavy will make his professional rugby debut on Saturday for the Ulster A side.
They will play the Scarlets in the opening round of the British Cup in Banbridge.
Former Letterkenny man Dunleavy has been named at number 8 in the pack.
Ulster A will be hoping to at least match the achievements of last season where the side reached the knockout stages of the competition for the first time in five years, before falling to eventual winners Munster A.
Ulster A team to play Scarlets Premiership Select, Saturday 14th October at Banbridge RFC, 2.30pm:
(1-8): Andy Warwick, Adam McBurney, Ross Kane (Capt), Jack Regan, Peter Browne, Caleb Montgomery, Aaron Hall, Joe Dunleavy;
(9-15): Aaron Cairns, Johnny McPhillips, Angus Kernohan, Rory Butler, Callum Patterson, David Busby, Jack Owens.
Replacements: Zack McCall, Michael Cromie, Matthew Dalton, Greg Jones, Jonny Stewart, Brett Herron, Michael Lowry.
