The mother of the schoolgirl who was stuck by a car in St. Johnston this morning says she initially thought the worst had happened.
It’s understood that the girl was on the way to get the school bus when the incident occurred.
She was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been released.
Her mother Louise spoke on the 10 to 1 show earlier and has been outlining how lucky her daughter was to come away from the crash without sustaining serious injuries:
