Appeal for information over two separate crashes in St. Johnston area

 

Gardai are appealing for information following a collision in St.Johnston this morning.
Meanwhile witnesses have been asked to come forward over a separate crash which occured yesterday just outside St.Johnston.
This morning’s crash, involving one car and a pedestrian happened just before 8.30.
It’s believed that a school girl was crossing the road in the village and was stuck by a car.
Her injuries are not thought to be serious.
Meanwhile, three people were hospitalised following a separate crash just outside St.Johnston yesterday.
It’s understood that yesterday’s crash, involving one car happened in the town land of Maheracloy at approximately 12 noon.
Emergency services attended the scene and three of the occupants were taken to hospital however their injuries have been described as non-life threatening.
