The Chamber of Commerce in Gweedore is hosting a meeting tonight to discuss crime, and how the community can better prepare itself to help gardai prevent it.
Chamber Chair Hugh Mac Giolla Bhride says the meeting will be attended by senior gardai and community representatives.
He says while recent high profile burglaries in the county will be discussed, the meeting will also discuss the needs of older people and other members of the community:
