Charity game raises €5,000 for the Inishowen Flood Relief Fund

Finn Harps Secretary John Campbell said his club was delighted to be able to support in a small way the people of Inishowen after the devastating consequences of last month’s floods in the peninsula. He also thanked Derry City Football Club and the Inishowen Football League for playing their part in the planning of the charity game.
“I want to thank all who helped with the charity game including Derry City, the Inishowen League, the referees, the Red Cross and everyone else who provided their
services free of charge. Thanks also to Irwin Expert Electrical for sponsoring the prizes. Most of all I would like to acknowledge the support of football fans in Donegal
and Derry who bought tickets and came to the game at Maginn Park.
All the money is going towards the Inishowen Flood Relief Fund and Finn Harps hope that this contribution will help in a small way towards the recovery after the terrible weather events of last month” Mr Cambpell concluded.
